Oltre alle funzioni automatiche di trading, X-Feeder offre un’apposita interfaccia simile a quella del sito BetFair. Qui sono visualizzate tutte le consuete funzioni, quali la possibilità di trasferire i fondi da un portafoglio all’altro, controllare il conto, passare e tornare alla modalità “Turbo”, modificare le scommesse, ecc.
- Connection Monitor
Come si può immaginare, X-Feeder non è in grado di garantire un aggiornamento veloce dei giochi se la connessione Internet o l’API non funzionano correttamente. Talvolta (nei week-end o al termine delle giornate lavorative), il server BetFair è sovraccarico e impiega più tempo a ricevere dati da X-Feeder. I problemi stagionali non si devono a X-Feeder, in quanto il software usa sempre lo stesso codice per connettersi all’API, codice che è indicato sul sito di BetFair BDP.
- Exporting to Excel
I valori delle carte vengono visualizzati man mano che vengono trasferiti dal server di BetFair. Si possono abbinare alle carte vere usando i mezzi di supporto forniti da BetFair.
- Transfer Funds
L’utente deve impostare quest’opzione se desidera che accada il contrario, ossia se desidera che X-Feeder versi del denaro sul conto games non appena i fondi su tale conto saranno scesi al di sotto di un certo limite. Ad esempio, se si imposta il comando “Deposita 5 EUR al limite di 11 EUR significa che X-Feeder preleverà 5 EUR dal conto BetFair ogni qualvolta i fondi sul conto Games risultano al di sotto di 11 EUR.
- Betting and P/L
E’ importante notare che il dato “Risultati precedenti” è calcolato in base alle ultime cinque scommesse piazzate nel gioco precedente. Ciò si deve al tentativo di raggiungere un compromesso tra la concreta possibilità che siano state piazzate più di cinque scommesse e la necessità di scaricarne velocemente i risultati dal server di BetFair per avere il tempo di piazzare scommesse automatiche (quali le “triggered”) nel primo turno del gioco successivo.

Si può risalire da Betfair al risultato del numero di giochi in questione cliccando o sul link Vittorie o su link Sconfitte. Si aprirà una finestra di dialogo in cui si potrà inserire il numero degli ultimi giochi nel canale in questione:
- Poker
Come si potrà notare, il costo proposto da BetFair è quasi sempre uguale alla quota basata sulla probabilità.
- Auto-Dutching
Tale opzione va attivata per evitare che X-Feeder piazzi una scommessa quando la quota della selezione supera il limite massimo consentito e permette all’utente di scartare potenziali perdenti. Considerando, poi, che non si può piazzare scommesse al di sotto del livello di importo minimo consentito da BetFair, tale opzione impedisce all’utente di scommettere nei casi in cui la quota è troppo alta perché l’importo della scommessa soddisfi tali requisiti.
- Auto-Greenup
Se si desidera sempre piazzare la prima scommessa su una data selezione, ad esempio Tie in Baccarat o Dealer wins or ties all in Blackjack, occorre selezionare tale opzione. Occorre, quindi, scegliere il tipo (punta o banca) della prima scommessa e il numero della selezione. Le selezioni vengono numerate secondo l’ordine con cui sono disposte su BetFair. Ad esempio, in Poker Mano 1 è 1, Mano 2 è 2 e così via. In Baccarat Player è 1, Banker è 2 e Tie è 3, ma se si passa ai Mercati Secondari, la selezione Pocket Pair In Any Hand è la numero 1, Highest Hand Has Nine è 2 e così via.
- Betting Options
Attenzione! Nessuno di questi metodi garantisce che le cifre PP precedenti e/o le cifre totali PP vengano calcolate correttamente. X-Feeder dipende da API, pertanto, se il server BetFair si blocca all’ultimo turno senza fornire i risultati del gioco e passa improvvisamente al gioco successivo, i risultati non potranno venire aggiornati.

- Condition Fields
Tale opzione può essere usata solo se il corpo della condizione contiene la parola “cards (carte). Si può selezionare il valore dall’elenco a discesa o inserirlo manualmente nel campo di testo. I primi 9 valori possono essere applicati solo alle mani di poker e solo a partire dal turno Flop, ossia, le carte contengono One Pair solo se si è al 3, 4 o 5 turno e BetFair visualizza la scritta One Pair sotto la coppia di carte della mano. Se si è al Preflop e la mano ha due jack la condizione non si verificherà.
- Campi Trigger
Piazza una scommessa tale da abbinare l’intero importo a qualunque quota disponibile. Se un’offerta di “punta” verrà piazzata a quota 1.01, BetFair regolerà automaticamente tale valore a quello migliore disponibile e distribuirà l’intero importo della scommessa tra le quote migliori. Se si piazza un’offerta di “banca”, la scommessa sarà inviata alla quota più alta di 5 ticks.

There is also a substantial change in the way we authorize the subscribers. Due to the restrictions that are a part of BetFair API licence we may no more authorize you by your BetFair username. From now on the licence you purchase is assigned to the machine you install it on. Therefore if you need to install X-Feeder on different computers you will have to buy one licence per computer.

We are aware that Previous Profit/Loss does not work correctly when Retrieve the information about the Previous Profit/Loss directly from BetFair is turned on. This is a bug of the BetFair Games API and we are discussing this issue with BetFair team. Please use the other option until this problem is resolved: Remember the information about the Previous Profit/Loss from the previous game.

Show P/L net of BetFair commission. X-Feeder can now automatically deduct the market's commission from the P/L figures of each selection. Both in real and test modes. The new option can be found in Betting Options
- 16/03 - Version 1.1
the occasional error message BET_REJECTED_ROUND_STALE when trying to place an automated bet in the first round: fixed. Note: you may still get this error sometimes if you are betting under BetFair allowed minimum. Since in that case the software needs to perform four betting operations instead of just one it may not have enough time to complete them before the round has ended (especially if you trade in Turbo Mode).

Apart from the reassuring news, that BetFair will soon rectify the recent problems with the Games API, we would also like to mention that we have investigated into the occasional crashes of X-Feeder. We have improved some of the code that was responsible for refreshing the channels.

The maximum connection timeout value is increased to 60 sec. This should reduce the number of lost BetFair responses.
