If you are as impatient as me, you will want to speed it up somehow to be able to test your strategies faster. One game usually lasts a couple of minutes. So imagine waiting for hours before you can come up with a perfectly polished betting plan through trial and error. Wouldn’t it be great if you could run a whole day of games in one go, see where your mistakes are, correct them and do it all over again! Luckily we have a solution: Time Machine for X-Feeder. This awesome plug-in lets you back-test your strategies on real historical data downloaded from BetFair. That is, it runs the actual games played on BetFair on certain days in accelerated mode. So you can play a whole day of Poker in a couple of minutes! And you get to choose which particular day you’re interested in: we have a database of the whole year! And it is available for all the channels, that is Poker, Blackjack, Baccarat, HiLo, Omaha, Card Derby and Bulls Eye Roulette.
Connection Monitor
The graph shows the fluctuation of two parameters: the total time spent by X-Feeder on getting the channel's prices and cards (Channel Refresh) and the time spent on getting the list of your current matched and unmatched bets.
Exporting to Excel
A special file called xfeeder.xlt will be opened. It already contains all the necessary links to all four channels. Each channel is represented as a separate sheet named correspondingly. If you need to see the selections and figures of a particular channel click Start Channel button. You should also click it if you want to update the list of selections in the spreadsheet (for example if you switched from Main Bets to Side Bets in Baccarat or Hi Lo):
Log Files
In the window that will open you will see two panels, one for Standard and another for Turbo mode of the game. You will see all messages that were recorded for both channels since the last time you started the software.
Test Mode
Once a game is finished X-Feeder will simulate the settlement of bets. That is it will add or loss the corresponding amounts from your Test Funds. It will also add the results of the game to the appropriate channel's log file.
Case Study
How to load selections' win/lose history
Type in the number of games you want to load (in the picture it is 5), and press Refresh Wins/Losses. The window will close, and the history of each selection's results will be loaded into the channel. You will see the new figures appear in the Wins, Consecutive Wins, Consecutive Losses and Ties columns.
Stopping channels when Profit/Loss limit is reached
In this case each channel will be stopped based on the amount that was won or lost in that particular type of game. I.e., you may lose £100 in Poker and win £200 in HiLo, and in both cases the two channels will be stopped.

Betting and P/L
The Previous Result figure shows how much you have won or lost in the last game that you played in any channel. As different games start and stop at different time this value will change in the beginning of every game in every channel. For example: you are playing Poker and Baccarat simultaneously. In the Poker channel you have just lost 5 EUR, while the Baccarat game is still on. The Previous Result will show -5.0 EUR. In the Baccarat channel you won 7.15 EUR. This figure will change to 7.15 EUR, yet the Total Profit/Loss will show 2.15 EUR.
Interface
You can retrieve the outcome of the specified number of games from BetFair by clicking on either Wins, Consec. Wins or Consec. Losses link. It will open a dialog box where you will be able to enter the number of last games in this channel:

Betting Options
If you turn this option on your default lay amount in every channel will be regarded as the bet's liability (the maximum amount that you are ready to lose on a bet). Also in every trigger that place a lay bet the bet size will be also considered a liability. Therefore turn this option on if you want the bet size to depend on the price. For example, if this option is off and default lay amount is 5 EUR, X-Feeder will lay 5 EUR at 2.0, and it'll lay 5 EUR at 40. In the first case your liability will be 5 EUR, and in the second case it'll be 195 EUR. However if this option is on in the first case it'll bet 5 EUR, and in the second - 0.13 EUR.
General Options
\logs\POKER, \logs\BLACKJACK, \logs\BACCARAT, \logs\HILO - all log messages related to a specific channel (betting, cancelling, changing the options of the channel).
Terminology
When X-Feeder is working in test mode it can simulate account balance, bets, profit/loss and bets settlement as if you were trading with real money in your account. You can perform the same actions: transfer the funds in and from your test account, place and cancel bets, apply automated betting strategies and test your betting systems - and all of that without risking a penny! Moreover you can choose which games you want to trade in in test mode, that is say bet for real in Poker and bet in test mode in all the other channels.
Activating Triggers
After you have activated all the triggers you want to run make sure that the Auto-Trading button in the channel where you want to trade is ON.
Analysing Cards Structure
In Poker and Omaha players (or hands) are dealt only two cards. So checking the value of the highest and lowest cards of a selection is quite a frequent task for triggers that operate in those channels.

A condition body is the main part of a trigger condition. It describes explicitly the object that a condition is related to, for example a channel or a selection. All further parts of the condition determine the properties or parameters of this object.

'Number of Games' Parameters
This group of parameters checks how many games have passed since the specified moment. The word passed means that the channel was being refreshed all the time, and the game counter was increased as each next game was settled. Even if you did not make any bets in a game, it will still be counted after its finish.

For example, you want to lay Natural Win in Baccarat if both Player and Banker have zero points in the second round. In that case you can set the channel and market to Baccarat, Side Bets and selection to Natural Win. Then add the following trigger conditions:
Price and Amount
The absolute (unsigned) value of the profit or loss which the previous game in the trigger channel ended up with. If you won 5 EUR, this value will be 5, if you lost 10 EUR it'll be 10.

If no channel is selected, this list will be absent.

You can now add two or more days to run in X-Feeder one after another. There is no need to stop the channel, go to Time Machine and change the day to the next one.
02/03 - Program Update
They will detect situations when only one card is lacking for the hand to have flush or straight. These conditions make sense only in Poker and Omaha channels, and only starting from round 3.
Version 1.3 - Omaha
We are glad to inform you that we have added the fifth game Omaha Hi to X-Feeder. It can be operated on a separate tag just as the other four games.All the functions (betting, automated green-up, dutching, triggered betting, exporting to Excel etc.) can be applied to the new channel.
03/05 - Update Available
You can use them to locate a selection which has - or has not - the minimum or maximum parameter value (out of all other selections in the channel). For example, you want to lay on the selection with the maximum number of consecutive losses. This became easy, just add the condition:
07/04 - Update Available
X-Feeder can now update the wins and losses of the selections in the channel based on the game history. This means you can learn the results of each selection in the beginning of your trading session. You don't need to wait for several games to end before you can gather enough historical data. Just click on the Wins or Losses link and get the history of any depth you want.
11/10 - Bug Fix (Test Bets P/L)
We have been reported that since the last update the software did not show P/L for test bets in Turbo mode (Poker and Blackjack channels).

You can create triggers based on how many cards were dealt in HiLo channel and what card values have been dealt.

If Card Derby Standard and Card Derby Turbo are running together, and if cards are missing for one of the selections in any channel, it may show the points for that selection but from the other channel.

Apart from the reassuring news, that BetFair will soon rectify the recent problems with the Games API, we would also like to mention that we have investigated into the occasional crashes of X-Feeder. We have improved some of the code that was responsible for refreshing the channels.

We have discovered that in Blackjack channel only the first two cards are displayed for the Dealer, no matter how many cards he is actually dealt. This is not an X-Feeder fault, but a Games API bug which we have already reported to their support team.

Please beware: the new trigger conditions have been inserted between the Bets Placed In the Game and the name of the first selection in a channel. So if your triggers contain a condition that starts with a name of a particular selection (for example, Hand 2 Back Price is less than 2.0 or Card 2 or further Consecutive Losses is greater than 0), then you need to update your triggers accordingly.
BetFair update
Due to the today's Exchange Games changes X-Feeder doesn't work correctly. Card Derby and the newBullseye channelare not working. We are doing our best tomake it work shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
X-Feeder 2.6 - Now with Bull's Eye Roulette
Because each of Roulette's markets takes up computer's resources, it is highly recommended to turn off all channels except those where you are actually trading. Just press the Disable button. It especially matters if you are running Time Machine for this channel: the tool will have to process more than 10 times as much data as in other channels. Please do not expect high performance if you have all ten markets enabled.

This strategy is very much like the similar one for betting in Poker channel, only it lays on the second favourite, without any particular conditions.
Laying on Card 11 after it has won a certain number of games
I've tested the triggers in HiLo Turbo channel, and here is what I've got.
Back Dutching the first two favs with additional conditions
max_profit - this is the maximum profit earned by the triggers after which the channel will stop. It is strongly recommended to avail yourself of this option to prevent your P/L going down after a series of wins.
Backing to leave the fav with profit and second fav with zero P/L
The bets' amounts will be calculated based on the default back amount for the channel, so that's the setting you will need to modify in case the trigger is often not executed because of the minimum stake limit.
Laying then greening up, with multi-step loss recoupment
One of the triggers in the file will remember the default initial lay amount that the channel was configured to. This value will then be used to revert to the initial lay amount after a loss recoupment series of bets.
Using P/L trend to back and lay the favourite

Fast loss recovery in cycles
These triggers are easy to configure. All the parameters that you may want to change are located in the top of the screen, among the constants. Each constant has its description, but you only need to change two: cycles which defines the length of the recoupment cycle, and max_bet which denotes the maximum bet size, after which the bet will return to its initial value. You can also change the channel and the selection on which the triggers should be laying. To change the conditions of the laying trigger, scroll down to the trigger called laying on 2 card run.
Backing according to the Fibonacci plan
Please note: the triggers are set to bet on Banker in Baccarat Turbo, but they may be applied to any channel and any selection priced 2.0 or higher. You can adjust the channel, selection and round settings according to your needs.
How to apply staking plans to your triggers
3. If you like the triggers, but want to change the channel or selection, then edit the Channel property in each trigger, and the Selection property in the triggers that placesome bet.
Lay Kelly Staking Plan
Strike Rate - this is the ratio of winning bets to the total number of bets placed. Say, if you placed 100 bets and 85 of them have won, the Strike Rate will be 85/100 = 0.85 or 85%. The more often you win, the bigger will be the strike rate. Usually it also means that the average odds are quite high as well. Figuring out your initial strike rate is the second part of the homework. The easiest way to do it is to run X-Feeder in the Test Mode with a trigger that lays according to your strategy, for around 100 games. Stop the channel. Then click on the Load link and load the last 100 games.
Laying and recovering loss in cycles
There is only one trigger that places the lay bet. This is the trigger you may adjust according to your strategy, as you may choose to bet on another selection in a different game. If you adjust the channel in all the triggers, they will perform loss recovery correctly. The trigger's name is placing a lay bet, and this trigger is the last in the block. The trigger in the file lays on Dealer wins or ties all in the first round.
Laying according to the '1-4' plan
You can lay on any selection in any channel, this plan works for any kind of lay betting. Just be sure to copy the first 6 triggers (you can add all betting triggers to the bottom of the sixth trigger in the same block).
Laying on a selection with odds higher than 5, recouping the loss in 4 steps
The triggers in the file are set to lay on All Cards Unique in Turbo Blackjack, but you can change the channel and choose another selection, for example Tie in Baccarat or 3 Card Run in Hi Lo. You will need to change the channel settings in all triggers and the selection in the laying trigger only.
Betting according to wins advantage
Find the Playerwho has the least number of wins since the start of the channel's refresh, and that number of wins is at least 4 games less than the next lowest number of wins of other Players. Back on that Player until its number of wins is no more than 2 games less than the next lowest number of wins. Example: in the last 20 games Player 1 and Player 2 have both won 12 times, Player 3 has won10 times and Player 4 - only 5 times. So back on Player 4, until4 games later Player 1 and Player 2 still have won only 12 times, Player 3 has won 11 times and Player 4 -9 times. Since 11 - 9 = 2, the backing stops until the next opportunity that meets the conditions.
